I had a productive meeting with His Majesty, King Charles III of England who is also the Head of the Commonwealth, and a passionate climate advocate. 
The meeting was a significant step in strengthening the partnership between Nigeria and the United Kingdom, and I am optimistic about the positive impact our joint efforts will have on our planet’s future as we look forward to setting an equitable global standard for environmental stewardship at #COP28.

J'ai eu une réunion productive avec Sa Majesté le roi Charles III d'Angleterre, qui est également le chef du Commonwealth et un fervent défenseur du climat.
La réunion a constitué une étape importante dans le renforcement du partenariat entre le Nigeria et le Royaume-Uni, et je suis optimiste quant à l'impact positif que nos efforts conjoints auront sur l'avenir de notre planète alors que nous attendons avec impatience d'établir une norme mondiale équitable pour la gestion de l'environnement lors de la #COP28. .

Before that visit, I had not been to Nigeria for 14 years.
