While navigating the forest in the course of his work, Ehigie unexpectedly encountered a group of armed kidnappers holding several innocent people captive. Without hesitation, he fired a warning shot, causing the kidnappers to panic and scatter temporarily. This bold action allowed him to rescue eight kidnapped victims and lead them toward safety through a familiar escape route. However, the kidnappers regrouped and turned their aggression on Ehigie.
